Loading... Please wait...Vintage is a re-purposing of clothing from the 1920s through the 1980′s, even 1990′s. An atelier is an artist’s studio or workroom. Maybe you are a vintage collector. Maybe you are an artist or “creative”. Maybe you are both. We believe these interests come from the same bond in our DNA. We observe the world with a sharp eye, a point of view, and a relentless urge to express ourselves.
In 2007, only about 12–15% of Americans shopped at consignment or resale stores. Digging through donated clothing and finding great pieces took a lot of time and patience. In the meantime, blogs, social websites, and RSS feed readers hit their tipping points in 2004, 2005 and 2006, respectively. The convergence of these phenomena have allowed us to find even the most obscure information and share it with an audience within minutes.
Vintalier began in 2009 as a blog to help people find and fall in love with unique vintage pieces and observe fashion trends. Two years later, we began selling a curated collection of our own. Vintalier will deliver our latest finds straight to your Facebook, Twitter, and hopefully to your closet.
We take pride in only selling items that are in very good, excellent, or new/unused condition. We will not sell items with major defects so you can be sure you are getting a quality product. We do this because we want people to love their clothes and integrate vintage into their wardrobe for as long as possible.
We look for high quality materials – like silk, genuine leather, and wool – and established brand names like Ferragamo, Etienne Aigner, Escada, etc. If you have any items that you think fit this description and our style, please email a brief description and photos (including any damage) to customerservice@vintalier.com.
